Founder Gayle Woodard
Gayle Woodard is a native Houstonian and is the Leading Lady of the City Cathedral Church of Houston where her husband Leroy J. Woodard, is the Pastor.
Lady Gayle and Bishop Woodard have been married for thirty years. Both are the parents of two spectacular sons L.J. and Demond.
Lady Gayle is the author of multiple of books centered on faith driven marriages, self-growth and motivation to live in your purpose through your God given faith.
Currently, Lady Woodard serves as the Executive Director of the Koinonia Sorority. Koinonia Sorority has been in service for over two decades, with an intentional focus on positive life impact to each person and organization they partner with. With a clear developed reach in the local community, the Koinonia Sorority has been able to support women’s shelter, girls homes and foster care facilities. In addition, the Koinonia Sorority host several major gatherings, events and functions that build capacity and support within the ladies.
Lady Gayle is certified as a Christian Counselor and has made herself a willing tool of transparent transformation to her community, family and friends. She uses her authentic life experiences and wisdom to enhance the lives of everyone that she meets. Her belief in the power of transition propels her to do the work of giving back.
